i think miss piggy and kurt would get along well

omg

can we get them on a quadruple date at breadstix????

At first there’s a little bitchiness, just a little - it’s hard because Blaine is so attentive to Piggy and Kurt just isn’t used to that much fierceness. There’s Rachel, sure, and Mercedes has always been amazing. But Piggy is just… she has so much presence and she’s so familiar to Kurt, and he hates the way Piggy just preens when Blaine compliments her dress. Please. Like that’s not off the rack.

And it gets quiet and awkward and then they’re looking at their menus and Kurt is sure that everybody at the table is doing what he’s doing, which is seething until they get the hell out of there, and then Blaine nudges him with his knee and when he looks over, Blaine’s smile is sweet and so fond and hopeful, and when he cocks his head to Piggy and Kermit, he looks over just in time to see Piggy looking away from where she was gazing at Kermit. And her face, just when she’s finished looking at him, is just… the haughtiness is gone, and her eyes are soft, and it’s like looking in a mirror. That’s how he looks when he looks at Blaine. Her mouth falls open a little and Kurt can’t help it, for just a second he really likes her, and when he smiles she smiles back.

After that they find a mutual target, and they complain together about the quality of the breadsticks and laugh at their clueless and wonderfully kind partners and talk about designers. And at the end of the night Kurt cradles Blaine against his chest and thinks about calling Piggy for an afternoon of shopping, and he sneaks a kiss into Blaine’s hair while Blaine talks on and on about how great Kermit is and how wonderful it will be to work with him.

BFF forever, is my point. Good instincts.
